How does a fleece insulate from the cold?

The task of the fleece fabric used is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture and the brush of the knit. This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. This fabric has been laboratory-tested to provide comfort in temperatures ranging from 7°C to 10°C without any additional jacket.

HOW IS WARMTH MEASURED?

We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: fleece material and thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. Imitating real mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) allows us to validate the design choices we make.

Why a breathable fleece?

This fleece jacket has been designed using a breathable fabric. It has the ability to effectively and quickly wick away perspiration while retaining heat. For your optimal comfort, it keeps you dry even during intense activity.

A jacket that’s both comfortable and practical

This fleece jacket is a must-have item of your hiking outfit that you can take along with you anywhere. With its compressible fabric and weighing only 270 g, this fleece jacket can be slipped easily into the bottom of your bag without taking up too much space.

How to look after your fleece?

To wash your fleece jacket without damaging it, select a 40° programme maximum and turn it inside out before machine-washing. Adjust the spin cycle to a maximum of 1,000 rpms and avoid tumble drying to protect the fabric.

Durability-tested

To guarantee their quality, our products undergo rigorous tests. We check their resistance to pilling, discolouration and repeated washing. The resistance to wear is measured using the Martindale test that subjects a sample of fabric to repeated friction. 2-year guarantee.
