IS THERE ANYTHING TO STOP THE HANDLEBARS FROM TURNING?
We chose for the handlebars to rotate through a full range so that kids can manoeuvre at a much wider range of angles. However, the shape of the frame prevents the wheel from rounding enough for the handlebar to end up backwards. Kids are given complete freedom to practice their steering while remaining safe.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
The box contains the disassembled bike (wheels, frame, and saddle) and the tools needed to assemble it. Don't worry, we've included instructions on how to assemble it. Your new budding cyclist will have a lovingly assembled bike set at just the right height. Box dimensions: width: 133 mm, height: 286 mm, depth: 600 mm.
Brake like the big kids!
We opted for a V-brake system with aluminium mini callipers. It is specially designed for balance bikes: the adjusting screw is at the rear so that the child's legs don't rub against it. We've placed ribs on the brake pads that slot into the channels on the plastic discs, giving you excellent braking. The slight noise you hear when the brake pads rub against the discs is proof that the brakes are working effectively.
ADJUSTABLE RANGE: A DETAIL THAT MAKES A STOP
We've done everything we can so that this balance bike fits your child for as long as possible, giving it a saddle that adjusts 11 cm in height.
Minimum saddle height: 30.2 cm
Maximum saddle height: 41.2 cm
When kids are just starting out, the saddle should be at leg height so that they can put their feet flat on the floor. The handlebars can also be adjusted by 8 cm.
Minimum handlebar height: 43.5 cm
Maximum handlebar height: 51.5 cm
WHY IS THE QUALITY OF THE BEARINGS IMPORTANT?
The principle of the balance bike is for kids to propel themselves and use this movement to learn to balance. The quality of the bearing is important as it is what allows kids to build up enough momentum to lift their feet and find their balance. Our 500 model truly stands out from other models in the same class. The wheels are equipped with ball bearings, which are known to be more efficient.

HOW ARE OUR BALANCE BIKES TESTED?
All our balance bikes are laboratory tested. These tests confirm that they comply with the EN-71 safety standard for toys, and also check the product's durability and braking power. We also carry out field tests to ensure that the product meets user needs and withstands real-life conditions from kids' and parents' points of view!
COMPATIBILITY WITH OUR ACCESSORIES
This model is compatible with accessories that clip onto the handlebar for a diameter of 19 mm, as well as the carrying strap, balance bike bag and balance bike stand.

Our Runride 500 balance bike weighs 3.4 kg. It weighs more than the Runride 100 model because of its brakes and bearings in the wheels.

OUR NUMBER 1 CHOICE: EASY LEARNING
Every part is specially designed by our B'TWIN team. The low frame makes it easier to get on, get off, and get over obstacles (pavements, hills). The footrests encourage them to lift their feet off the ground and experiment with balancing. The position of the footrests prepares for the correct placement of feet on the bicycle. The saddle rises at the back to help children stay seated in an efficient movement position.
HOW DO BALANCE BIKES HELP CHILDREN'S PSYCHOMOTOR DEVELOPMENT?
Moving, learning, and playing are essential parts of a child's development. With their balance bike, children will learn balance, spatial awareness, and coordination skills, all while immersing themselves in imaginary worlds. To get the most out of the product, it's important to make sure the balance bike is the right size. Our balance bike is suitable for children approximately 85 cm to 105 cm tall.
DOES IT NEED TOOLS?
We also took parents' needs into account. The saddle height can be adjusted without tools thanks to the "quick release" system. The handlebar can be adjusted using a 5 mm Allen key. You will need a 5 mm Allen key to remove the wheels.
The balance bike is supplied with the right tool.
HOW TO RIDE SAFELY
Toys must not be used on public roads. When learning to ride, kids should stay on the pavement. And for safety reasons, protective equipment (helmet and pads) is strongly recommended.
10" WHEELS
The wheels are 10", with plastic rims and solid EVA foam hybrid tyres. What you need to know: The edges of foam tyres are less even, sometimes giving the impression of a "crooked" wheel. But rest assured, this is not the case! To adjust the brake properly, simply open the brake pads slightly wider than on a bike with conventional wheels.
