Saddle
Your comfort is our priority, we offer you an exclusive ERGOFIT saddle, wider, with a hammock-shaped profile. Easily adjust the height of your saddle with the Flex steel seat post, 350 mm or 400 mm long (depending on the size of the bike). Its reduced diameter of 27.2 mm ensures your seat has natural flexibility, 30% more than a standard solution.
Derailleur and transmission system

V-brakes with pads
Two V-brake pads for effective braking. These brakes consist of calipers that apply more or less pressure to the wheels to slow down or stop the rotation of the wheels. Once a year, check how the pads are wearing. If the grooves are disappearing, take the bike to your local bike shop workshop.

With a very pronounced slope of the top tube, in a very wide range of sizes (from S: 1m55 to XL: 2m00),
the frame of the EXPL 50 mountain bike is MIXED.
LIGHT, COMFORTABLE AND PLAYFUL FRAME
It's not always easy to find the right position on a mountain bike. Our designers created a frame that is easy to mount. The 100% aluminum CGF (Comfort Geometry Frame) frame is comfortable and easy to use. The slope angle is designed to keep your back straight, while the rear chainstays are shortened to make the bike very agile in turns.
27.5" WHEELS & TIRES FOR DRY TERRAIN
The EXPL 50 wheels are forgiving and strong, with 27.5" double-walled rims with 28 spokes. Slow down without worrying about obstacles: small rocks, cracks, holes and bumps! Since you're starting MTB touring on dry ground, this mountain bike is equipped with DRY 27.5 x 2.0 tires. Their performance is optimized thanks to a faster central section, while the side knobs provide excellent traction in corners.
WHAT SIZE MTB TO CHOOSE?
Several sizes available: S: between 1.55m and 1.64m
M: between 1.65m and 1.74m
L: between 1.75m and 1.84m
XL: between 1.85m and 2.00m
To adjust the bike according to your height and size, try these tips:
1/ Sitting on the saddle, you should be able to touch the ground with the tips of your toes. 2/ To adjust the saddle, your knee will be slightly bent with your foot on the pedal in the low position. 3/ If you hesitate between two sizes, choose the larger size.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
We added a quick release system to easily attach/detach the front wheel. There is a nut at the rear to secure the bike and limit the risk of theft. You will need a wrench to remove the rear wheel. Our advice: A bike rack is a simple way to easily transport your mountain bike, without dirtying your car.
FRONT SUSPENSION
The 80 mm front suspension allows you to overcome the first obstacles with peace of mind on slightly uneven trails. Its mechanical spring is a seal of reliability. And the fork is particularly easy to maintain.
Non-binding photos
Regarding the 7-cog cassette with 14 to 28 teeth, the photos or videos in the bike description show a Shimano TZ500 cassette. However, due to supply difficulties, the bike may be equipped with an equivalent wheel cassette.
HANDLEBAR, STEM, GRIPS
With a stem tilted 10° upwards, the riding position of the EXPL 50 is raised, accessible and comfortable. In detail:
-Aluminum stem, 90 mm long, with a 10° angle for maximum comfort. -Steel handlebar 620 mm wide, for stability and control.
-The grips are made of "soft touch" material for a good grip and a soft and comfortable feel.
