Can stabilisers be added? Yes, if your child needs them. Our Btwin 16" stabilisers are compatible with this model. According to some studies, beginner cyclists transition more easily and quickly to a bike if they master balance on a balance bike. Ideally, children should learn to balance first on a balance bike or a progressive 2-in-1 balance bike (like the Discover 500 and 900 tons 14").

Choosing a beginner's bike
To learn to ride a bike easily, we advise against using bikes that are too big. At Decathlon, we take care to recommend the right sizes to help you choose the right bike. Recommendation: Consider renting a bike! If your child is still a little short for the bike you had in mind, but is eager to learn, we recommend renting a smaller bike until they grow.
