      Although this UV-protective children's underwater suit provides sun protection, other factors such as reflections (from water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, and so on, should be considered. Wearing this short suit does not exempt the wearer from following relevant advice: Wear sunglasses, regularly apply suitable sunscreen, wear a hat, drink fluids regularly, etc.

      AQUATHERMIC TECHNOLOGY:

      AQUATHERMIC components have technical characteristics that reduce thermal shock when entering the water. They reduce the amount of water absorbed and, as such, the shivering due to the evaporation of this water on the surface when the child is out of the water. This net suit also helps to reduce the intensity and time it takes for the child to feel cold when near the pool.

      WHAT DOES UPF 50+ MEAN?

      UPF is a sun protection factor (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) and is standardized worldwide. It determines the level of protection of a fabric and, more precisely, the percentage of UV rays it allows to pass through. To meet standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB rays.

      CHILD PROTECTION

      Baby's skin is very sensitive to the sun, because babies' protective systems become effective only after 3 years of age. For identical exposure, the effects of the sun are 2 to 3 times stronger on a child than on an adult. Therefore, it is important to protect them effectively.

      The Kloupi swimming suit protects the child from the sun, as well as from the cold by limiting heat loss when getting out of the water.
