Our designers developed this racket for young intermediate tennis players who play competitively and are 141–155 cm tall.
Frame composition
Full graphite frame, with a wide cross-section for post-impact stability and excellent hand comfort.
PEDAGOGICAL FEATURE > HAND PLACEMENT
Two sections on the handle to show children where to place their hands: - Hold the racket with the dominant hand below the two dotted lines
- The second hand, especially for backhand shots, should grip the handle above the two dotted lines
This provides more power and stability during the shot.
PEDAGOGICAL FEATURE > SWEET SPOT
We placed a white ball-shaped marker over the correct string sweet spot. By trying to direct the ball with this marker when hitting it, your child will focus on centering the ball on the racket and maintain the correct position.
Their shots will be better and the game will be more enjoyable. When the ball is hit in the center of the racket - called the sweet spot - the result is a stronger, more accurate shot with less vibration.
PEDAGOGICAL FEATURE > RACKET GRIP
With three colored markers on the handle, the TR500 GRAPH helps children place their hands in the correct position for forehand, backhand, and serve shots. Children should be able to see:
- the yellow marker when hitting a forehand shot
- the white marker when serving
- the grey marker when hitting a backhand shot
This keeps the racket head in the correct place when hitting the ball and ensures the ball is hit properly.

PEDAGOGICAL FEATURE > PREPARATION AND FOLLOW-THROUGH
To help children prepare and follow through with their swing, we placed a small target on the edge of the racket. At the top of the shot, the target should point towards the incoming ball. At the end of the shot, it should still be pointed towards the ball after it has been hit. This forces your child to prepare and follow through correctly.
PEDAGOGICAL FEATURE > CHAMPION'S STANCE!
When your child receives the ball, they should hold the racket so they can see the targets on the frame. Their feet should be slightly spread and knees bent in what is called the "CHAMPION'S STANCE" to be in the correct position to hit the ball.
The TR500 Graph racket, made entirely of graphite, is easy to use and ideal for young players starting out. It's comfortable to play with and has 5 pedagogical features.
