This tire is designed for 20" wheel MTB bikes to provide the best balance of characteristics during MTB rides.
How to fit a child's bike tire with an inner tube:
Mount one side of the tire, following the direction of rotation (if indicated). Insert the inner tube, which has been slightly inflated beforehand, then mount the other side, starting with the valve, to avoid pinching.
How to remove your child's bike tire:
Remove the wheel from your bike and deflate the inner tube. Press the sides of the tire to detach them from the rims. Use DECATHLON tire levers (ref. 8930710). Place one under the tire to pry it off. Attach it to a spoke and repeat the action to free the entire side of the tire. Then pull it to remove it from the wheel.
How to check a child's bike tire wear:
Be careful, you must check the wear of your bike tires. If the rubber layer is smooth or its blocks show signs of wear, do not hesitate to replace the tires. This will prevent punctures and allow you to ride safely.
How to properly inflate a child's bike tire
When inflating the tire, check that it is correctly mounted on the rims. Then look at the values marked on the side of your tire. Inflate it to the pressure indicated on the tire between the minimum and maximum values.
