3. MEASURING YOUR SITTING BONE DISTANCE
Choosing the right saddle starts with a simple measurement:
- Take two pieces of corrugated cardboard and place them on a stool.- Sit on them, upright, and press down firmly for one minute.- Stand up:Two imprints should appear.- Connect the centers of the imprints with a ruler. This number is the distance between your sit bones, which is essential for finding the right saddle.
1. Determining saddle height (part 1):
Step 1:Grab a tape measure, a hardcover book, and a pencil.Step 2:Stand barefoot, heels against the wall, feet 15 to 20 cm apart.Step 3:Slide the book between your legs, up to your perineum.Step 4:Mark the top of the book on the wall.Step 5:Measure from the ground to your mark. This height corresponds to your bike's inseam, essential information for choosing the right bike size.
How to choose your saddle based on your riding style?
Choosing the right saddle depends entirely on your position on the bike. For a straight back position (90°), choose a very wide saddle with gel, ideal for outdoor outings. If you're slightly bent over (60°), an intermediate saddle offers a good compromise between comfort and performance. Finally, for a sporty position (30°), opt for a narrow saddle with a thin nose designed to minimize pressure and improve performance.
2. Adjusting the saddle angle:
Before you set off, check the angle of your saddle.Use a level on the front part.Make sure the saddle is completely horizontal. Then test it out and adjust for smooth, comfortable pedalling.

260mm x 195mm
TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR BIKE RIDE:
For maximum comfort, adjust your saddle at four key points.Choose a model suited to your posture (for example, a 60° back angle).Adjust the height according to your body type, then adjust the angle to avoid discomfort. Finally, adjust its setback for good stretch. For complete comfort, don't forget to wear cycling apparel suitable for the length of your ride.

3. Adjusting saddle setback:
A good position on the bike saddle = no knee pain
Sit on the bike and lean back to stay upright.Clip your feet in and place the crank in the horizontal position.Check the knee-pedal extension → adjust the saddle if necessary.
1. Determining saddle height (part 2):
Adjusting your saddle correctly is easy!- Inseam measurement (in cm) × 0.883 = height to be adjusted.- For example:89 cm × 0.883 = 78.6 cm.
