To get the most out of this Pilates band, look for the central white line. It will ensure you are in the correct position every time you use it. We recommend using two different resistances: one for warm-up and one for more intense sessions. If you wear shoes, choose textile bands to avoid damage.
Care for this Pilates band
For your band to last longer, we recommend:
- Gently clean it with a damp cloth and lukewarm water after each workout;
- Occasionally apply a little talcum powder;
- Store it in a dark place, away from heat and ideally at a temperature below 30°C;
- Avoid leaving it in the car. Temperature changes can damage it.
Resistance of the Pilates band
The resistance of a Pilates band can be compared to a weight you would have to lift to stretch it. As the resistance increases, so does your challenge. Choose a lower resistance for stretching and a higher resistance for strengthening.
What can you work on with a 3kg Pilates band?
The 3kg Pilates band is our intermediate resistance level. It allows you to progress slowly by adding difficulty to exercises typically performed with the 2kg band. It is suitable for precise exercises and allows you to use more smaller muscles such as the arms, while also improving flexibility. If you want to focus your efforts on muscle strengthening, switch to the 4kg band.
