At Decathlon, our Forclaz and Simond mountain hiking backpacks come with a 10-year warranty, excluding normal wear and tear of the product. In case of defects, we offer repairs, replacement, or refund. The warranty covers parts from the zipper to the seams - more information on our website.

Capacity

Volume 50L. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method. We use small balls to fill the main compartment, as well as every pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with an error margin of only a few %.

EASYFIT System

Our patented Easyfit system allows you to adjust the back height and strap tension simultaneously by pulling a single strap (on each side). 1. Put on your bag 2. Fasten and tighten the strap 3. Pull the handles (from bottom to top) It's adjusted!

How do I pack my backpack?

Place your bedding at the bottom. Place heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) close to your back. Store your clothes around it. A ground sheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there is no room inside. Keep your jacket and waterproof fleece close at hand. Place small everyday items (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.) in pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided at the back.
