How to use the multi-purpose straps?
The new range of MT500 AIR and MT900 UL bags has two straps with open aluminum buckles (at the bottom of the bag). These straps allow you to attach a tent or mattress under the bag or in a barrel. If not in use, these straps can be stored (by pushing them in) in the hidden pocket intended for this purpose or detached and used elsewhere with the knot of the lark's head.

What is the AIR concept?
As with the MT900 UL line, the MT500 AIR range features a ventilated back structure with mesh fabric that helps the back breathe and dry quickly. Rigidity is guaranteed by a reinforced frame. The back is adjustable with a release strap that is easy and quick to use.

What is the recommended carrying weight?
According to the design for which this backpack was designed, we recommend that you do not load it over 15 kg. Then you can benefit from all its features. Furthermore, it is not recommended to carry a load greater than 20-25% of your weight and to put too much pressure on your back.
What is the capacity of this backpack?
The bag has a volume of 45 liters with an extension to hold another 10 liters. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method. We use small balls to fill the main compartment, as well as every pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with a margin of error of only a few %.

How do I pack my backpack?
Place your sleeping bag at the bottom. Place heavy equipment (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothes around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the lid or under the bag if there is no space inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece close at hand. Place small items for daily use (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.) in pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided at the back.
What are the differences regarding the female body shape?
Our models for women are adapted to their body shape (chest and hips) with a more open shoulder strap shape and a more fitted strap for greater comfort and freedom of movement.
