Why a breathable fleece?
It's inevitable to sweat during outdoor walks, even in cold weather. To avoid feeling like you're in a sauna, we've chosen a breathable material that wicks away perspiration. The full-length zipper allows you to open the jacket for additional ventilation.
How does the material provide cold insulation?
The fleece component is designed to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (known as "brushed fleece" when many small loops are woven into the fabric). This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.
How does this fleece jacket fit?
It's snug, but not too close to the body, so we recommend wearing a technical base layer under this fleece jacket. This way, you'll be better protected from the cold. It's also designed to be worn under our wind/waterproof jackets. Choose your usual size.
HOW IS WARMTH MEASURED?
We conduct 2 types of thermal tests: Fleece material and thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. These tests reproduce mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) you might encounter. They allow us to validate our design and adjust the thermal insulation.
A durable fleece jacket?
We ensure our products are durable through rigorous testing. We check the resistance of:
- fabrics to pilling;- colors to washing;- fabrics must be washed continuously;- fabrics to abrasion and rubbing with a Martindale test.

How to wash this fleece jacket
This fleece jacket can be machine washed at 40°C. Turn it inside out before putting it in the washing machine. Remember to close the zippers. Choose a synthetic cycle and set the spin speed to a maximum of 1,000 rpm. Do not tumble dry.
