HOW TO CHOOSE THE MATERIAL OF YOUR HIKING SOCKS?
It is often inevitable to sweat during activity, so it is important to regulate moisture as best as possible. If your shoe is ventilated, it will absorb sweat more easily; therefore you can choose an absorbent and ventilated sock. If your shoes are relatively waterproof, you will not make the same choice to protect yourself from rain; choose a sock that will absorb sweat and direct it as far away from your foot as possible.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE OF HIKING SOCKS?
You should choose the correct size of socks for your feet to avoid extra folds. We make the most of the qualities of elastane so that our socks stay in place around your feet. It is essential to try on the socks before going on a hike.
PRODUCT DESIGN: our expertise
Our global Quechua design center is located in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a true meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc.) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. An excellent asset for designing your outdoor hiking products and for providing you with all our expertise.
Choose the right height of hiking socks
In this model, we offer 3 sock heights. The "low" model goes slightly above the shoe, but below the ankle. They are worn with low-top boots. The "mid" protects the ankles and stops slightly above them: They are ideally worn with low-top shoes. The "tall" are ideally worn with mid or high-top shoes, as they stop slightly below the calf and completely cover the ankle.
