To avoid detergent residue, use a little less detergent (for waterproof clothes, if possible) than usual and perform a second rinse cycle. Wring it out as little as possible to avoid damaging the jacket.

      The Schmerber rating measures a fabric's waterproofing ability. The higher the number, the drier you stay. Our jacket features 15,000 mm H2O (Schmerbers): It can withstand the pressure exerted by a 15-meter column of water.
