      Even though this children's UV protection wetsuit provides sun protection, other factors such as reflections (from water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, and so on, should be considered. Wearing this short wetsuit does not exempt the wearer from following relevant advice: Wear sunglasses, regularly apply appropriate sunscreen, wear a hat, drink fluids regularly, etc.

      AQUATHERMIC TECHNOLOGY:

      AQUATHERMIC components have technical characteristics that reduce thermal shock when entering the water. They reduce the amount of water absorbed and, as such, the shivering due to the evaporation of this water on the surface when the child is out of the water. This net suit also helps reduce the intensity and time it takes for the child to feel cold when near the pool.

      WHAT DOES UPF 50+ MEAN?

      UPF is a sun protection factor (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) and is standardized worldwide. It defines the protection level of a fabric and, more precisely, the percentage of UV rays it allows to pass through. To meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 95% of UVA rays and 98% of UVB rays.

      CHILD PROTECTION

      Baby skin is very sensitive to the sun because babies' protective systems only become effective after the age of 3. For identical exposure, the sun's effects are 2 to 3 times stronger on a child than on an adult. Therefore, it is important to effectively protect them.
