TRAIL RUNNING for training or competition up to 40 km on easy terrain. Multifunctionality for switching between roads, trails, and bushes, etc.
How is the cushioning? CS with PAD (PU foam) + Kalensole: for cushioning on roads as well as on trails.
Kalensole is an EVA foam cushion used in the midfoot. An exclusive compound that offers the following benefits:=> superior cushioning (34%) and energy return (+25%)
=> increased stability in external temperatures
=> greater durability
CS ("Circular System") is provided by an air hole in the foam padding in the heel. It disperses the shock wave more effectively and evenly in this area of the foot. We added a durable and spongy PU (polyurethane) cover to this hole.
What is DROP and how much drop do the TR2 mountain running shoes have (mm)?
The DROP of a shoe is the difference in sole height between the front part (forefoot) and the back part (heel). The shorter the DROP, the more natural the foot's movement. The DROP of the TR2 running shoe is 8 mm.
A running shoe that adapts to your surface and stride thanks to K-Only technology.
K-Only is an exclusive EVADICT technology that makes our mountain running shoes suitable for all types of strides thanks to the denser foam placed under the first metatarsal.
A comfortable and versatile EVADICT mountain running shoe, designed to optimize comfort and running pleasure.
Thanks to its extreme versatility, it is a perfect compromise between comfort, traction, cushioning, and flexibility. The upper part of the sole is specially designed with as few seams as possible and with components that optimize low weight, durability, support, and flexibility. The shoe collar facilitates foot entry, ensuring freedom of movement and reducing friction.
An EVADICT shoe that has been tested and approved in real conditions covering approximately 10,000 km!
Our TR2 shoes were developed with the help of mountain runners. These testers put our prototypes through their paces over several months. Only after numerous laboratory tests, and especially a series of "long-term" tests in real conditions covering approximately 10,000 km, was the product validated by the trail runners themselves.
One last piece of advice before you run?
Here are the tips from Annabelle, our product engineer, and Cyrille, our product manager: "The most important thing is to enjoy your trail runs. Build them up gradually so you don't compromise – choose regularity. Don't forget to enjoy the scenery and the places where you are running..."
FLEX-H technology and beveled heel (heel roll)? What does it mean and what does it do?
Flexible channels located in the forefoot. During the push-off phase, the metatarsal-phalangeal joint provides a flexibility zone, as well as being the main contact point of the foot. Therefore, our design teams added flexible grooves on each side of this joint to facilitate foot movement without causing any discomfort. The heel was specially beveled to optimize and facilitate foot roll.
