Size: how to choose your swimming goggles
Available in adult and children's sizes.
The fit of the goggles out of the water depends on the compatibility of the silicone skirts with the shape of the face.
Before buying the goggles, we recommend performing the "suction" test without the strap. Place the goggles over your eyes; if they hold on their own with slight suction, they will be watertight once in the water. This test can also identify uncomfortable or bothersome areas on the face.
Why do my swimming goggles fog up?
Fogging occurs mainly due to the temperature difference between the body and the water. Since the body is warmer than the practice environment, fogging occurs on the inside of the lenses through evaporation. As a result, every tiny drop of sweat will stick to the inside of the goggles. In fact, it's a bit of luck: All these droplets will eventually combine to create a film of water through which you can see clearly.
Anti-fog treatment
Anti-fog treatment creates a microscopic film of water for clear vision, but it wears off faster due to friction or excessive exposure to chlorine. Caring for the inside of your lenses is essential. Over time, it's normal for the anti-fog effect to diminish. Briefly dipping the goggles in water can help in the short term, but it can also accelerate the wear of the treatment. Our anti-fog marker reactivates the treatment!
How to adjust swimming goggles
These swimming goggles adapt to your face morphology without needing much adjustment. Goggles that are too tight can cause discomfort, leave marks, and even create holes for water entry. There's no need to press the lenses with your hands; a slight suction effect is usually enough for swimming sessions without water entry holes. The straps should ideally sit 2 to 3 cm above your ears. This position will optimize the grip and comfort of the goggles.
UV protection
In accordance with standard: Q/BT 4734 -2023, all Nabaiji swimming goggles protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays when used normally, regardless of the lens color. Looking directly at the sun is dangerous and can lead to irreversible eye damage.
CAUTION - PRECAUTIONS
- Rinsing the goggles (only if necessary) simply by dipping them in water
- avoiding directing powerful water currents onto the internal surface of the lenses.
- Store the goggles in their case after each session to protect the lenses: inside for the anti-fog layer, outside against scratches.
- Do not expose them to temperatures above 60°C
Finally, do not touch/rub the inside of your lenses
