It is designed for children aged 9 to 11 who want to take their first steps in padel with a lightweight and easy-to-use racket.
How do you play padel?
Matches are played in teams of two people (doubles). Two serves are allowed and must be played underhand, diagonally across the court. One bounce is allowed. The ball must hit the ground before any other part of the court. The ball can hit a wall after bouncing (only the wall, not the metal fence). The ball can go out of the court after bouncing and can be returned to play from outside the court. The scoring system is the same as in tennis.
Do you know what padel is?
Padel emerged in Mexico in the late 1960s. This fun sport quickly found its way to Spain, Argentina, and later to all Spanish-speaking South American countries. Padel is currently the second most played sport in Spain, after football, but ahead of tennis. There are eight million players worldwide.
What is Full EVA?
This innovation is exclusive to Kuikma, Decathlon's padel brand. The racket is made from a single piece of EVA foam covered with a composite fiber surface. The larger surface of EVA foam increases the perfect head point and therefore makes it more tolerant to off-center errors, resulting in better ball control.
Its weight of 325 g and thickness of 36 mm offer the lightness needed to make rapid progress, and the Full Eva concept provides good comfort and reduced vibrations.
Handling
The 36 mm size and 310 g weight allow you to react quickly.
Control
The Full EVA design is very tolerant to off-center errors.
