What does the EN 1078 standard cover?

Complies with the EN 1078 standard for bicycles, inline skates and skateboards. EN1078 is a European standard regarding test methods and requirements for "cycling, skateboarding and roller skating" helmets. This standard covers the following aspects: construction, including field of vision, shock absorption properties, characteristics of the retention system including the chin strap and tightening devices, as well as marking and information.

In-mold technology and EPS

The In-Mold technology used in the manufacturing of this helmet makes it possible to mold the outer polycarbonate shell during the injection phase of expanded polystyrene (EPS). This results in a structure that is much stronger, very durable and extremely light. The internal EPS structure absorbs the energy generated during an impact so that it is not transmitted to the skull, while the rigid outer shell provides the helmet with longer durability.

Helmet for cyclists looking for a compact, ventilated and very comfortable model thanks to the adjustment system developed by our engineers.
