How is the quad made?

How do you replace worn parts?
Spare parts (54 mm wheels, ABEC 5 or ABEC 7 bearings) are available in-store and online. We recommend regularly swapping the wheels around so that they wear down evenly. The same applies to the brakes: By swapping the left and right brakes, they will wear down more evenly and last longer.
What protective equipment do you need to start quad skating?
As with all plane sliding sports, falling is just part of learning (even for experienced skaters). For maximum protection, we recommend wearing knee pads, wrist guards, and a helmet as an absolute minimum. Elbow pads and padded shorts are useful when you haven't quite mastered your balance yet. And even if you're not exactly graceful, your joints will thank you.
What are these children's skates designed for?
The terms "roller skates" and "quad skates" are used to define the same thing. The Quad 100, four-wheel fitness skates, are versatile skates for children learning or occasionally practicing skating. We put comfort first during the design process. This way, your child can focus on how much fun they're having. The vintage style of these roller shoes is a reference to 80s roller skates.
What is the difference between fitness quad skates and artistic quad skates?
Stuck between this model and heeled artistic skates? Artistic quads are made differently. They come up higher on the ankle, have a small heel, and their brake is closer to the ground. More than anything else, their design is dictated by the sport of artistic roller skating. Fitness quad skates are more versatile for urban exploration, roller disco, and occasional dancing or cruising. They are as comfortable as trainers, but with added wheels.
These skates comply with the EN 13899 standard. What does the standard cover?
The European standard EN 13899 specifies the rules for skating sports equipment and roller skates. This standard specifies safety requirements, specifications regarding testing methods, markings, and information provided with the aim of reducing the risk of injury.
