R-value from 0 to 1.9: Hot season only (summer)
R-value from 2 to 3: Used during 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn)
R-value from 3 to 6: Used during 4 seasons
R-value > 6: Used in all 4 seasons and in extreme conditions (glacier, far north and high altitudes)
Tips for sleeping well on your mattress
Once you are lying down, remember to adjust the inflation pressure of the mattress by lightly pressing the IN valve (open the cap). A too-hard mattress is often synonymous with discomfort. Silicone patches on the top of the mattress are designed to reduce the sleeping bag from sliding on the mattress.
How to choose the size of your MT500 mattress
This model is available in L and XL versions. The difference between the 2 sizes is in length (180 cm for L; 195 cm for XL size) and width (52 cm for L size; 60 cm for XL). To choose the mattress that suits you best, you need to consider your height, but not only that. Your preference and/or your preference for space around the shoulders should also be taken into consideration. So, even if you are 1.75 cm, you might prefer XL!

The easiest way to fold the mattress without damaging it is to fold it in four lengthwise and then roll it up.
What is the R-Value?
The R-Value is a measure of thermal insulation. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (human body) to a cold floor. The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress. Please note that R-values can be added; This means that you can use two mattresses and add their R-values. How to repair a leak in your MT500 air mattress?
An inflatable mattress is not puncture resistant, but it can be repaired! When using it, exercise maximum care during its installation and handling. In case of problems, we recommend using self-adhesive patches for repair (ref: 8584596).
