      The Oxelo design team developed this helmet to keep young riders safe on their roller skates, skateboards, scooters, and bikes.

      When should you replace a helmet?

      Helmets are designed to protect your head from one impact. Just one impact. If you fall, you must replace your helmet even if it doesn't look like it's damaged: it could be weakened or cracked in invisible places... and thus no longer offer protection. We recommend replacing your helmet every 5 years, as some materials start to age, particularly if the helmet is stored in a cold and/or humid place. (the production date is printed inside the helmet).

      What sizes are available?

      Available in 2 sizes: XS (for a head size of 47 to 52 cm) and S (for a head size of 52 to 54 cm).

      What does the EN 1078 standard cover?

      EN1078 is a European standard concerning the test methods and requirements for cycling, skateboarding, and roller skating helmets. This standard covers the following aspects: construction, including the field of vision; shock-absorbing properties; features of the retention system, including the chin strap and tightening systems; markings and information.

      Impact protection

      The shape of the helmet (covering the back of the neck and ears) is designed for board sports on asphalt. Polystyrene structure and ABS outer shell.

      Replacing comfort foam

      You can change the foam in your helmet using the Oxelo replacement foam kit. (Code: 8607937)

      Terms and conditions for returning Personal Protective Equipment

      A helmet is PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Make sure the product suits you (model/size/colour) before purchase. If it is not suitable, please return it in accordance with the following conditions: with the instructions, labels and, if possible, original packaging.
