3 STEPS TO FOLLOW A DIRECTION FROM "A" TO "B" OR TO TAKE AN AZIMUTH WITH A COMPASS

1 - Place the compass flat on your map. Point the edge of the compass from point A to point B 2 - Rotate the capsule until the lines at the bottom of the capsule align with the north lines on the map 3 - Compass in hand, holding it flat and with the direction arrow pointing in the direction of travel: Rotate until the magnetic north needle of the compass enters the red north section! Now you can walk forward, following the direction arrow!

A wide, more precise and intuitive needle

When we designed this compass, we chose a large needle for a more precise and intuitive visual alignment of the needle with the map's north lines.

Lanyard to wear the compass around the neck

For added safety and peace of mind, the lanyard is equipped with a quick-release system.

Magnetic declination correction

Inside the capsule, you will find a declination scale. Magnetic declination is the angular difference between magnetic north and true north on your map. You will find the value of this declination in your location online.

Equipped with a 360° rotating capsule, 2 scales, a magnifying glass and a lanyard, this oil bath compass will guide you in your outdoor activities.
