Description

This 2-piece swimsuit is designed for beginner surfers catching broken waves.

STAYS IN PLACE IN THE WAVES: THE TEST

We design swimwear that promises to stay put in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of at least 12 female surfers of different body shapes, who follow a testing protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being tossed by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surf in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.

GIRL'S SWIMWEAR SIZES

At Decathlon, we design swimwear for young surfers by taking their height into account. That's why we systematically link the child's height to the size, as age is not enough to guarantee the correct size. Two 10-year-old girls can be completely different in height, weight and shape, and have different measurements. We also recommend you try the swimwear on in store if possible.

DRY SIZES AND WET SIZES

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while dry, because once in the water, swimwear becomes looser. Therefore, we recommend you buy the correct size. Swimwear should fit snugly on your body in the changing room and you should feel supported. The elastane content in some components used in the design of our swimwear softens and relaxes in water.

BEGINNER SURFER

You've just started surfing or only surf a few times a year. You stay where you can touch the bottom, in small or broken waves. You surf for the pleasure of being in the water and the sensation it gives you. During your sessions, you often fall, but you fall in waves that are not very powerful. Our design team has developed a wide range of swimwear suitable for casual surfing.

BODY SHAPE

The TAMARA 2-piece swimwear is designed for young beginner surfers. This swimsuit is a summer essential for surfing while having fun. The bottom and top have elastic edges to keep the swimsuit in place in small waves. The briefs have a regular cut.
