First laps or a reunion with the aquatic world? Here's the simplicity you need: swimming goggles that can be adjusted in the blink of an eye.
Lens tint
The color of your goggles should be suitable for where you swim and its lighting. If you swim outdoors or in a brightly lit pool, prioritize goggles with smoked lenses to limit glare.
However, if the pool is quite dark with low light, for example on winter evenings, use clear lenses. SOFT swimming goggles are available with two different lens shades (tinted and clear).
UV protection
In accordance with standard: Q/BT 4734 -2023, all our swimming goggles protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays when used normally, regardless of lens color. Looking directly at the sun is dangerous and can lead to irreversible eye damage.
Anti-fog treatment
Anti-fog treatment creates a microscopic film of water for clear vision, but it wears off faster from internal rubbing or excessive exposure to chlorinated water. Caring for the inside of the goggles is essential. Over time, it is normal for the anti-fog effect to diminish. Briefly dipping the cups in water can help in the short term, but can also accelerate the wear of the treatment. Our anti-fog marker reactivates the treatment!
Why do my swimming goggles fog up?
Fogging occurs mainly due to the temperature difference between the body and the water. Since the body is warmer than the practice environment, fogging occurs on the inside of the lenses through evaporation. As a result, every small bead of sweat will stick to the inside of the goggles. In fact, it's a bit of luck: all these drops will eventually combine to create a film of water through which you can see clearly.
Size: how to choose your swimming goggles
Available in size S (children and small heads) and size L (large heads).
The fit of the goggles out of the water depends on the compatibility of the silicone edges with the shape of the face.
Before buying the goggles, we recommend performing the "suction" test without the strap. Place the goggles over your eyes; if they hold themselves with a little suction, they will be waterproof once in the water. This test can also identify uncomfortable or annoying areas on the face.
How to properly adjust swimming goggles
These swimming goggles fit the morphology of your face without needing much adjustment. Goggles that are too tight can cause discomfort, leave marks, and even create leaks for water entry. It is not necessary to press the lenses with your hands, a slight suction effect is usually enough for swimming sessions without water leaks. The straps should ideally sit 2 to 3 cm above your ears. This position will optimize the grip and comfort of the goggles.
