Our camping designers created this Arpenaz 20° sleeping bag so you can sleep comfortably when camping in temperatures close to 20°C.

What is the comfort limit temperature?

The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person wrapped in the sleeping bag is in overall thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (defined for a man under normal conditions of use).

Washing your sleeping bag

We recommend using a washing machine with a minimum capacity of 7 kg and closing the zippers of the sleeping bag.

Composition

Outer fabric and lining: 100% polyester | Filling: 100% polyester filling 80 g/m².

What is the usage temperature?

On all our sleeping bags, we display the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) according to the European standard ISO 23537-1 dated 21/01/2017. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in a relaxed position is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman under normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag accordingly.

Tips before getting into your bag

Dress simply (one layer of clothing is enough). Warm your extremities: hat, gloves, socks, hand warmers, stuffing, etc. A hot water bottle can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there is no risk of accidental opening!). Contract your muscles to generate heat (70% of energy is converted into heat), without moving to avoid cold drafts. To wash your sleeping bag less often, we recommend using a sleeping bag liner.

What you should know about temperatures

A sleeping bag does not produce heat, but retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and get into a cold, damp sleeping bag, it is very likely that you will feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! Therefore, these temperatures depend on the person's resistance to cold (body type, fatigue, etc.), equipment (insulated mattress, etc.), clothing (naked, underwear, etc.) and weather conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).

Our motivation? To offer you a 20°C sleeping bag with full zips for easy opening. It can also be converted into a duvet. 5-year warranty!
