Our design teams have developed these swimming fins for intermediate swimmers who are just starting out and want to work on their legs and cardio.
WHAT ARE SWIMMING FINS FOR?
Fins are a piece of swimming training equipment to work the lower body. You can simultaneously work on your heart rate and strength training for the lower body (thighs, buttocks, calves, abdominal stability).
FOOT POCKET
The fin's foot pockets hold the foot in place during the kick (important for an efficient kick). An OPEN foot pocket means the ankle can move more freely.
A CLOSED foot pocket supports the foot in its natural position.
FIN LENGTH
SHORT BLADE FINS
- 33-34:30 cm
- 35-36:31 cm
- 37-38:32.5 cm
- 39-40:34 cm
- 41-42:35 cm
- 43-44:36.5 cm
- 45-46:38 cm
A SHORT blade guarantees a good kicking frequency and a good cardio workout. The movements are very close to "natural" swimming movements. A LONG blade guarantees a wider kick and a stronger muscle workout.
Fin stiffness
VERY FLEXIBLE FINS
Stiffness is characterised by the density of the material. As such, the stiffer a blade is, the greater the muscular strain will be. The more flexible a blade is, the more efficient and encompassing the kick will be. How hard you kick will depend on the type of training you want to achieve (cardiovascular or muscular).
Want to go further in your training? Short, smooth swimming fins help you easily perform a muscle workout for the lower body and cardio training.
Propulsion
These fins slightly improve propulsion for a more enjoyable swim.
Muscular workout
Soft fins with a short blade for a gentle muscle workout.
