Designed for carp anglers and predatory fishing in fresh water.
Drag rating
When reeling in a carp, the latter exerts a tension force on the reel. The reel must be able to resist while remaining reliable. The pulling power is measured in kg. Avoce has a casting weight of 7.2 kg, tightening the reel to the maximum. This is mostly sufficient to highlight even the largest specimens. For example, during a tough fight during which you have to pull the fish hard, the necessary resistance rarely exceeds 2 kg.
What is a baitrunner reel?
The baitrunner reel has 2 drags. - Front drag. This is the drag force used during fighting. It self-activates during a fight with a fish as soon as you start reeling. It allows you to control the tension force exerted by the fish at the end of the line. - The second drag is located at the back of your reel. It is activated using the switch at the back. The baitrunner drag adjusts the tension when the rod is in its pod.

What does the ratio mean?
A reel's ratio corresponds to the number of times the spool rotates when you reel in the spool. Example: For a ratio of 5.8:1, the spool rotates 5.8 times for every shaft turn.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF A FREE SPOOL?
A baitrunner reel allows you to adjust the resistance between the resistance at the start and the resistance required during the fight. You can switch from one to the other very quickly with the first turn of the shaft. Therefore, you can anticipate by adjusting the degree of resistance for fighting before the carp departs. However, the baitrunner reel combined with the front resistance increases the overall weight of your reel.
WHAT DO LINE RETRIEVE AND RATIO MEAN?
The reel's line retrieve (TMV) is the average length in centimeters of the line for each turn of the spool. The long-distance baitrunner has a line retrieval speed for each turn of the shaft (TMV) of 82 cm. For example, if you fish at 121 m, you will need to turn the lever 126 times. A reel rotation ratio corresponds to the number of times the spool rotates when you turn the shaft. Example: For a ratio of 5.8:1, the spool rotates 5.8 times for each spool
