Who is it for?
If you're just starting out or occasionally skate and are looking for a comfortable and safe skate at a good price, we've developed the Fit100 for your family outings.
How do they stay comfortable and fit?
The semi-soft boots with 3D mesh are comfortable and prevent too much moisture from building up inside the skate. The new comfortable foam and heel padding make life more pleasant. The cuff (the part of the boot that goes up your leg) is rigid and goes high enough to hold your ankle in place. Together with the triple fastening system (laces, micrometric buckle, and strap), it holds your ankle firmly.
What is the maximum supported weight for these Oxelo Fit100 inline skates?
These adult skates comply with the EN 13843 Class A standard (the standard for inline skates for adults). This standard applies to "Roller sports equipment - inline skates" designed for a person weighing between 20 kg and 100 kg. This European standard defines safety requirements and specifications for testing methods, markings, and information provided by the manufacturer, with the aim of reducing the risk of injury.
Do you have to choose between glide quality and comfort?
No, not with Oxelo. The Fit100 inline skates offer gliding performance designed for beginners thanks to their 76 mm wheels combined with ABEC5 bearings. The combination of a plastic frame and relatively soft (80A) rubber wheels offers a good balance between vibration absorption and tolerance. The frame can also accommodate 80 mm wheels.
How much do the Oxelo Fit100 skates weigh?
2.5 kg per pair in size 8½.
How are our products tested?
All our skates are tested in the lab. These tests confirm their compliance with European standards for skates, as well as their resistance to wear. In addition to lab tests, we carry out field tests – some measured and others based on the opinions of testers – to really put the product through its paces. The result is a tested, proven product.
How can you maintain/repair your skates?
You can replace parts or repair your skates using the after-sales parts available in-store, online, and at your local Decathlon store's workshop. Parts you can change are 76 mm or 80 mm wheels, ABEC 5 bearings (or higher if you want better glide quality). The brake pads fit both the left and right foot.
How can you make your skates last longer?
It's normal to swap the wheels because they don't wear evenly. The reason? We often skate with our feet slightly angled inwards when pushing off and turning. If you want to prevent them from wearing out, swap the wheels (in pairs).
