Description

We developed this ball for advanced futsal players who require high performance, durability, and accuracy.

Design

By observing futsal players from our technical partner, the CRL Porto Salvo club, our design team created this thermo-bonded futsal ball with only 12 panels. It is thermo-bonded because we designed the ball for durability and precision during play.

Shape and pressure retention

The ball withstands up to 5000 shots against a slanted concrete plate at a speed of 50 km/h from a distance of 2.5 m. The circumference increases by a maximum of 1 cm. A 1.5% change in sphericity and a maximum 10% change in pressure.

Maximum pressure loss

15% in 72 hours

Accuracy

Our design team rolls the ball on a slanted surface towards a table. The trajectory direction and the change in trajectory angle are measured: a maximum acceptable deviation of 5°.

Sphericity

Average measured variation: maximum of 1.5%. We measure the sphericity of the football at 16 different points and then examine any changes. When the discrepancy is greater than 1.5% (FIFA Quality Pro Standard), our engineers are tasked with improving the sphericity to ensure consistent rebound.

Weight

Between 410 and 430 g.

A team of passionate individuals dedicated to our futsal products is located in Kipstadium, a site in Northern France with a variety of pitches. These Decathlon men and women design and create products and services exclusively for this sport. We are constantly looking for ways to improve comfort and safety for Futsal players.

Bounce

Between 55 and 65 cm with a maximum difference of 10 cm between the highest and lowest bounce of the ball. Each ball is dropped 10 times onto a steel plate from a height of 2 meters.

Circumference

Between 62.5 and 63.5 cm.

Our design teams have developed this Futsal Pro ball, certified by FIFA Quality Pro for optimal resistance and high-intensity play. The official ball of the Intercontinental Cup.

Controlled bounce that meets FIFA Quality Pro futsal standards.
