These sailing trousers are designed for coastal sailing in wet, stormy and windy conditions. Waterproof in moderate rain for 2 hours.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR WATERPROOF TROUSERS

- Rinse with fresh water after use - Store in a dry place - To protect the waterproofing treatment, wash as little as possible - Wash the product inside out and with the cap closed. Synthetic cycle 30°C or 40°C with regular detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Do not overload your machine. Extra rinse cycle. - Line dry. - To reactivate water resistance, tumble dry inside out on a synthetic cycle for 10 to 15 minutes.

Breathability of the sailing trousers

BREATHABILITY OF COMPONENTS To assess the breathability of a fabric, the RET coefficient is measured according to the ISO 11092 standard. The lower the resistance, the more the fabric allows water vapor generated by the body during exercise to escape, and the more breathable it is. - RET <9 = extremely breathable fabric - 9 20 = fabric not very breathable or not breathable at all

WATER-RESISTANT PROPERTIES

The water resistance of the trousers was tested with rainfall of 60 l/m²/hour for 2 hours. 100% waterproof seams, non-waterproof pockets Component resistant to water pressure of 5,000 mm. This is equivalent to 5,000 Schmerber - the average pressure exerted by water during rain. We measure the fabric's resistance to water pressure in mm of water column (ISO 811). The higher the water pressure the fabric can withstand, the more waterproof it is.
