Do you need to keep your drinks hot or cold for several hours? Our designers developed this lightweight, durable, and insulating stainless steel flask.
The secret to the insulated flask?
The double wall of stainless steel with vacuum insulation blocks heat from conductivity and convection. A thin layer of copper reduces thermal exchanges from radiation. Some tips to improve thermal insulation: Fill your bottle with hot water for 5 minutes, then replace the water with your hot liquids, then close it. The fuller the bottle, the better it retains heat. Caution: the flask is very insulating; liquids will remain hot for a long time.
Function
The top opens easily with one hand by pressing the white button marked "PRESS". When carrying the flask, you can block this button by sliding the white button down. A red area appears, indicating that the top is locked and can no longer be pressed. The top has an integrated filter to keep large tea leaves or infused fruit away from your cup. It is not suitable for very finely cut teas.
Care instructions
It can be washed in the dishwasher (top + body). Be careful not to lose the top gaskets. Dry it uncovered. The top seal can be removed for a thorough wash and dry.
Materials and regulations
Our products and materials meet current standards for food contact. They do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in accordance with current French regulations. We have chosen to use 18/8 (304) stainless steel for the body of the flask, known for its food safety, and for the top, a heat and shock-resistant polypropylene.
First use
Rinse the entire product 3 times with clean water before using it for the first time.
Product design: our expertise
Our global design center in Quechua is located in Passy, at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc.) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing your mountain hiking products and offering you all our expertise.
How is thermal insulation tested?
We tested this flask in the laboratory according to EN 12546-1 Standard, at an ambient temperature of 20°C while filled to capacity. The time it takes to drop from 95°C to 50°C (beverage temperature considered warm enough to drink) is 23 hours.
