Our designers have developed this multifunctional pole for regular hikers and mountain trekkers on rugged terrain.
How to adjust the poles to the correct length?
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To do this:
- pull the bottom section all the way out until the automatic pin (metal button) locks
- open the external blocker lever
- slide the tube to the desired length
- close the lever
Never exceed the STOP line to avoid the risk of the pole breaking.
How it was designed...
This model was entirely designed and approved by our team, at the foot of Mont Blanc. The design is based on the external locking mechanism for precise and rapid adjustment. Combined with a push-pin that unfolds and folds automatically. Then we designed a handle that allows multiple grips: along the tube for climbing and steep terrain, with a wrist strap for efficient pushing and a grip for descents. We then use our best 7075-T6 aluminum for controlled weight
Why is the pole sold individually?
At Decathlon, we have decided to sell our trekking/mountaineering poles individually. Firstly, because of the way they are used. Indeed, some people only want to use one pole. Also, if one of your poles breaks, it means you only have to buy one and not a full pair.

Care advice
Proper maintenance of your pole will ensure it performs optimally and lasts longer. After use, if water has penetrated the pole, remove the sections and let them dry. If necessary, clean dust or mud with water or a dry brush. Once dry, you can reassemble the sections. We recommend you do not try to lubricate or grease the mechanisms.
Instructions for use
This mountain trekking pole helps to maintain balance, move and distribute effort between arms and legs. For safety, check before departure and regularly that the pole is well-secured by simulating strong impacts. If you notice that your pole tends to slide down, the turning ring of the locking mechanism needs to be adjusted. Open the lever and turn the handle a quarter to half a turn. Do not wear the backpack in case of a thunderstorm.
Excellent compromise between ease of adjustment / lightweight / comfort. It can be unfolded and folded in one go.
