Our camping designers created this Ice Compact 20L isothermal bag for your food and drinks while hiking outdoors. Ideal for when you feel free.

Dimensions

Cooler dimensions when unfolded: (Length x Width x Height) External dimensions: 29 x 19 x 42 cm Internal dimensions: 28 x 18 x 38 cm Once folded, the cooler is more compact and measures 29 cm wide, 10 cm deep, and 40 cm high.

Instructions for use

To keep food cold for longer, you can add ice packs to your bag. When packing the bag, we recommend placing foods that need to stay cold together at the bottom of the bag. Finally, to increase the thermal performance of your cooler bag, we recommend opening it only when necessary and closing it quickly.

Capacity

Volume: 20 liters. Recommended for 2-4 people. Inside you will find a system to keep bottles upright during transport and a zippered pocket at the top. On the outside, you will find a zippered pocket, separated from the cooler, so you can keep your items dry and prevent them from coming into contact with food in the cooler (wallet, keys, map, camera, etc.). The bag also has 2 external mesh pockets.

How is the bag volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: We fill the main compartment, as well as every pocket, with small balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.

Isothermal

We tested this cooler in the laboratory according to standard EN 12546-2, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs and half-filled. It took 7 hours to go from 5°C (food temperature directly from the refrigerator) to 15°C. By adding a 1.2 kg ice pack, the time to go from 5°C to 15°C under the same conditions is 10 hours.

WATERPROOFING

This backpack is not waterproof from the inside. The bottom of this backpack does not hold water. Sometimes condensation forms inside the bag and some water droplets may penetrate through the seams. Don't worry, this rarely happens and will not damage your food.
