Our camping designers created the Arpenaz Base living room for 6 campers, for expanding the protected area and protection from bad weather and insects.
Ventilation
Three sides have openings for better air circulation. Each opening has a mosquito net to prevent insects from entering.
Assembly and disassembly
Traditional pole assembly and disassembly. Follow the instructions sewn into the product cover. We recommend that 2 people set up the tent.
Living room
Square living space with an area of 6.25 m² and a maximum height of 2.15 m. Door height: 1.70 m.
Poles and tent pegs
Poles - All our poles are made of fiberglass and undergo double quality checks. This ensures the best resistance against breakage. Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
Maintenance tips
Our camping living rooms are designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during camping or outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as "garden furniture" and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently. To ensure maximum durability for your camping living room, it is important to store it when not in use.
Sun protection
The roof fabric has UPF 30 sun protection. Caution: Be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can enter through a simple open door.
Wind resistance
We test all our living rooms in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is for each side of our living room to be exposed to the same wind intensity. Properly set up, with the guy ropes in place, this living room remains habitable even at wind speed 6, measured at 50 km/h.
Repair
As designers and practitioners who love our playground, we care about the durability of our products. This is why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at your Decathlon store workshop or on our website.
Waterproof and taped seams
We test our living rooms to verify their waterproofing. The first test is carried out in the laboratory, 3 hours with 200 liters of water per hour per square surface, equivalent to 200 mm of tropical rain per hour. The second test is carried out in the field in real conditions by our teams. This living area is equipped with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet with a thickness of 2,000 mm. It has waterproof layers with sealed tapes and a 140 g/m² polyethylene floor.
Our motivation? To offer you a pole-supported living room that is easy to assemble and ideal for a large space. Its freestanding structure means it can be moved very easily.
