Our designers have created this Arpenaz Base Fresh shelter for 10 campers who want more space protected from the weather and insects.
Repair
As designers and practitioners who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents and living rooms are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at your Decathlon store workshop or on our website.
Sun protection
Ti0²-coated fabric is SPF 50+. Caution: A large amount of UV rays can pass through an open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
Waterproofing
We test our living rooms to verify their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours with 200 liters of water per hour per m², equivalent to 200 mm of tropical rain per hour. The second test is performed in the field in real conditions by our teams. This living area is equipped with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet with a thickness of 2,000 mm. It also has seams that are waterproofed with heat-sealed strips.
Poles and tent pegs
Poles - All our poles are made of fiberglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees the best resistance against breakage. Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
Assembly and dismantling
Easy to set up: aluminum tubes for the structure and fiberglass rings for the roof. The structure of the living area is self-supporting. We recommend that 2 people set up the tent.
Living room
Square living room with 3 m on each side, or 9 m² | Living room height 2.25 m | Door height 1.85 m
Maintenance tips
Our camping living rooms are designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during camping or outdoors. Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as "garden furniture" and are not designed to be left outside permanently. To ensure maximum durability for your camping living room, it is important to store it when not in use.
Ventilation
A door with a mosquito net window. Can be configured as three half-doors or three open doors.
Wind resistance
We test all our living rooms in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the living room to the wind. A properly pitched living room with all guy ropes attached should remain habitable in wind speeds up to 50 km/h near the ground.
Our motivation? To offer you a large living area with a self-supporting structure that can accommodate up to 10 people. The three doors and large mosquito net will protect you.
