Our camping designers designed this extra-thick Ultim Comfort self-inflating mattress for campers who want the comfort of their own home.

For the first two uses, inflate by mouth to activate the self-inflation.

Thermal properties and warmth (continued)

The R-Value expresses the thermal performance and resistance of the mattress. The higher the R-Value, the more the mattress insulates you from the cold ground.- R-Value from 0 to 1.9: mattress designed for use only in warm seasons (summer) - from 2 to 3: mattress design for use in 2 or 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn) - from 3 to 4: 4-season mattress, possible for use in winter - higher than 4.5: use in winter and extreme conditions

Principle of a self-inflating mattress

We advise you to lay out and unfold the mattress as soon as you set up camp. Leave the valve open to make pre-inflation easier. A self-inflating mattress inflates itself up to about 80%. You will need to inflate the rest yourself, so that you can adjust the pressure to your desired comfort level.

Thermal properties and warmth: use in winter and extreme conditions

Since the beginning of 2020, a new standard has been validated to assess the insulation level of your mattress: the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This standard measures the mattress's ability to retain or restore body heat to avoid its loss and therefore offer you thermal comfort. Thermal insulation thanks to foam. Self-inflating mattress according to R-Value ASTM F3340-18 GA ULTIM COMFORT standard: 8.6 (measured by an independent laboratory)

Our motivation? To offer you an extremely thick, self-inflating 70 cm mattress, which can be folded and is very simple to set up for home comfort during camping.
