220 g butane gas cartridge with bayonet valve for powering camping stoves during travel. Compatible with all Decathlon Quechua stoves.

Installing a gas cartridge

To install a gas cartridge, always do so in a ventilated area, preferably outdoors and never near a flame, heat source, spark, individuals, or flammable materials. Ensure the stove is on a stable, flat surface and that the gas inlet on the stove is properly closed. Position the cartridge correctly with the stove (on the collar) and insert it; it's normal to hear a short "pschiit" sound (gas escaping) while doing this.

Safety - Standards

This cartridge complies with standard EN 417. It is for use only with Decathlon Quechua brand equipment or other brands complying with standard EN 17476 for the direct pressure mixed butane/propane category. Read the instructions and precautions for use on the cartridge.

Safety instructions 2/2

In case of leakage, remove all ignition sources. In case of an ignited gas leak, do not extinguish it unless the leak can be stopped safely. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Do not refill.

What should I do with my empty gas cartridge?

In France, empty single-use gas cartridges should be taken to a waste disposal centre. These facilities are equipped to handle various types of waste, including hazardous waste. Do not dispose of gas cartridges in public bins or with household recyclables. Ensure the cartridge is completely empty. You can do this by using it until the flame on the stove extinguishes and no more gas comes out.

Liquefied butane gas, extremely flammable. Do not hold upside down, do not shake the cartridge. Under pressure, it may explode when heated. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C. Protect from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and all other ignition sources. Do not smoke.

The bayonet valve cartridge is very easy to attach and detach from the stove for safe use. Complies with EN 417 standard.
