Our team of parent mountaineers designed these ultra-durable trousers to protect your child during outdoor activities.

Product design: Our expertise

Our global Quechua design center is located in Passy, at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a true meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc.) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. An excellent asset for designing your mountain hiking products and providing you with all our expertise.

Windproof

Wind protection is important, as it cools the body both during activity and at rest. According to the "wind chill" model, which measures how the air temperature feels when wind and cold are taken into account: At a temperature of 5°C combined with winds of 30 km/h, the perceived temperature will be 0°C. If the air temperature is 0°C and the wind speed is 30 km/h, the perceived temperature will be -6°C. The materials used help to withstand the chilling effects of wind.

Water-resistant component (different from being waterproof)

Water resistance is achieved with a treatment that prevents water from adhering to the fabric. It "slides" off without being absorbed, so the garment remains light, breathable, and warm. Please note, this does not mean it is waterproof. This treatment can be repeated to maintain its full effectiveness. Use sprays applied from the outside, instead of additives used during garment washing, which can damage the product's breathability.

Reinforcements on the seat and knees, adjustable waist and length, and a removable pocket allow for play without scratches.

Windproof

Excellent protection from the wind thanks to its membrane.

Robustness

Softshell reinforcements on the seat, knees and legs, resistant to falls.

Water repellent

Water flows off the trousers, giving you time to find shelter
