The ideal swimming mask for young swimmers in the pool, whether indoors or outdoors.
Lens tinting
The color of your goggles should be suitable for where you swim and its lighting. If you swim outdoors or in a brightly lit pool, prioritize goggles with smoked lenses to limit glare.
However, if the pool is quite dark with low lighting, for example on winter evenings, use clear lenses.
How to adjust your swimming mask
A swimming mask that fits your face shape does not need to be too tight. A mask that is too tight can cause discomfort, leave marks, and even create openings for water to enter. There is no need to press the lenses with your hands; a slight suction effect is usually enough for swimming sessions without water ingress. The straps should ideally sit 2 to 3 cm above your ears. This position optimizes the mask's grip and comfort.
UV protection
In accordance with standard: Q/BT 4734 -2023, all Nabaiji swimming goggles protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays when used normally, regardless of lens color. Looking directly at the sun is dangerous and can lead to irreversible eye damage.
Size: How to choose your swimming mask
Available in size S (children and small heads) and size L (large heads).
The watertightness of the goggles depends on the compatibility of the silicone edges with the shape of the face.
Before purchasing the goggles, we recommend performing the "suction" test without the elastic band. Place the goggles over your eyes; if they hold themselves with a slight suction, they will be waterproof once in the water. This test can also identify uncomfortable or irritating areas on the face.
Anti-fog treatment
The anti-fog treatment creates a microscopic film for clear vision, but it wears off faster with rubbing or excessive exposure to chlorinated water. Caring for the inside of your lenses is essential. Over time, it is normal for the anti-fog effect to diminish. Briefly dipping the goggles in water can help in the short term, but it can also accelerate the wear of the treatment. Our anti-fog marker reactivates the treatment!
Why does fog appear in my swimming goggles?
Fogging occurs mainly due to the temperature difference between the body and the water. Since the body is warmer than the practice environment, fogging occurs on the inside of the lenses through evaporation. As a result, every small drop of sweat will stick to the inside of the goggles. In fact, it's a bit lucky: All these droplets will eventually combine to create a film of water through which you can see clearly.
CAUTION - PRECAUTIONS
- Rinse your mask (only if necessary) by simply immersing it in water
- Avoid directing strong water currents onto the inner surface of the lens.- Store masks in their case after each session to protect the lenses from damage, both inside for the anti-fog layer and outside from scratches.- Do not expose them to temperatures above 60°C
Finally, do not touch/rub the inside of your lenses
