How to properly put on your lifting strap with wrist support
- Adjust the elastic band around your wrist and make sure everything is snug.
- Insert the end of the strap into the loop to create a loop through which you can pass your hand.
- Once your hand is in the strap, check that the remaining part fits well in your palm; it should pass between your thumb and index finger.
- Then place your hands on the bar and wrap the remaining part around the bar.
- Support your hand on the strap.
- Repeat the same steps with the other hand.
Our coach's tips for improving your workout (2/2)
For each exercise, start with the minimum recommended repetitions, without going to failure (leave 2 repetitions in reserve), and add one repetition per week up to the recommended maximum. Next, increase the weight on the bar. Each time you add more weight to the bar, start again with the minimum recommended number of repetitions and gradually increase until you reach the recommended maximum.
What are lifting straps for?
Lifting straps are strong straps designed to provide a more comfortable grip so you can fully focus on performing each exercise correctly. Once you use them, you'll find they are essential for certain exercises, such as deadlifts and rowing exercises.
Equip yourself properly for safe training
During your weightlifting exercises (such as deadlifts), we recommend using a leather weightlifting belt (item 8649025) or a double-buckle belt (item 8649022) to provide additional support for your abdominal and lower back muscles. This will help you increase intra-abdominal pressure.
These straps feature thick foam padding on the handles, offering excellent comfort and exceptional durability, even when performing a 250 kg deadlift.
