Our team of campers designed this 2 Seconds shelter for one adult or two children.It provides shelter from the sun, light wind or ground insulation.

Care and storage advice

Our shelters are designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your outdoor adventures.Continuous exposure to UV rays for several weeks can damage the fabric.These products are not classified as "garden furniture" and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently.To guarantee maximum durability of your shelter, it is important to clean and store it in its cover when not in use.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable.The goal is for each side of the shelter to be exposed to the same wind intensity.Properly pitched, this shelter remains habitable in wind speed 4, measured at 30 km/h.

Don't throw away, repair

This tent is designed to be repairable.Spare parts and repairs are available at workshops in your local Decathlon store or on Decathlon.fr.Here are the reference numbers for the spare parts:- Lower pole Ø 4 mm cut to size:8600932 (length = 3550 mm), - Upper pole Ø 5 mm cut to size:8600931 (length = 6020 mm), - Adhesive kit for fabric - blue:8584596, - Adhesive roll for fabric repair - blue:8584597.

Rain protection

This shelter protects you from light rain thanks to its polyurethane-coated polyester fabric.The basic cover protects you from humidity and water runoff.Caution!The seams are not sealed, which means they do not offer protection from heavy rain.

Sun protection

Our main fabric is made of 75D (Denier) polyester fiber, coated with polyurethane to guarantee UPF 50+ sun protection.Caution:Since some UV rays pass directly or indirectly through the front of the tent, we advise you to protect your skin.

Set-up and dismantling

This shelter uses our 2 Seconds technology, so the pole structure is pre-assembled to the textile cover.Before using the tent for the first time, read the set-up and dismantling instructions on the product and watch the video available on our Decathlon.fr website.When opening, ensure people stand about 3m away and hold the shelter at arm's length.The tent is self-supporting. Position it and put the three pegs in place.
