This inner tube is compatible with 27.5" diameter tires, with a cross-section ranging from 1.90 to 2.50 with a 48 mm Presta valve.

Inner tube installation

Watch our video before you begin. Inflate the inner tube slightly beforehand to avoid pinching. Insert the valve, making sure you are using the correct valve for your wheel. Place the tire completely inside the tire so that it fits inside the rims. Be careful not to pinch the inner tube during installation.

Tire installation

Begin installing the tire at the valve. Complete the tire installation opposite the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube. Never install the tire with a tool or a tire lever, as you risk pinching and puncturing the inner tube.

Removing an inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using B'Twin tire levers

How to choose your inner tube

Check all the information shown on the side of the tire (diameter and width). For example, 27.5 x 2.10 means your tire is 27.5 inches in diameter and 2.10 inches wide. On the side of the tire you will also find the dimensions in mm in international ETRTO units. For example, 50-584 means a tire that is 50 mm wide and has an inner diameter of 584 mm (approximately 27.5 x 2.00).

Tire inflation

Inflate the tire carefully, to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the side of the tire in PSI or in bars, 1 bar = 14.51 PSI). Regularly check that your tire is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Checks to be carried out before installing an inner tube

Check the condition of your tire and replace it if necessary. Make sure there are no objects stuck in the tire. Check the condition of the tire's rim tape. A rim tape that is even slightly bent can cause punctures. Check that your wheel does not have other problems that could damage the inner tube.
