Description

Developed and tested by our engineers in humid conditions, this rain jacket will protect you from scattered showers.

Breathability

To determine if a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on ISO 11092 standard). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will allow water vapor produced by the body to escape, and therefore the more airy it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely airy material. Our Ultralight showerproof jacket's RET is 6.

Care tips

Hand wash. Turn the garment inside out. Use a minimum amount of laundry detergent. Do not add softener. Line dry in a warm and airy area. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.

Product tests

Our team of product designers is based at the B'Twin Village in Lille (France). Throughout the year, we create and develop new products that are easy to use, look great, and have the technical characteristics needed for your cycling experiences. They are then tested intensively in the field, as only real conditions allow for continuous product improvement.

Instructions. Patch repair

1. Clean the area carefully with a dry cloth. Avoid touching the adhesive with your fingers.2. Place the patch on the inside of the jacket, extending it about 1 cm beyond the hole (cut if necessary). 3. Apply firm pressure over the entire surface to remove air and ensure strong adhesion. Wash at 30°C, up to 10 cycles maximum. A video tutorial is available for application to the arm area.

Water resistance

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rainwater from passing through. The waterproofing of the fabric is measured by its resistance to the pressure of a column of water, in mm (according to ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with 2000 mm waterproofing resists the pressure of 2000 mm of water (about 2 hours of rain). Our Ultralight jacket is waterproof up to 2000 mm.

Are the clouds coming fast? This compact rain jacket (fits into a bag) will be the perfect companion when riding your bike in wet weather and will protect you from scattered showers.
